Kevin McGuire is an internationally recognized Sommelier, who holds 18 separate Wine certificates/certifications from prestigious organization including WSET, CMS, SWE (CWE), WSG (including French, Italian and Spanish Wine Scholar), NVWA (American Wine Expert, Napa Valley Wine Expert), Italian Wine Professional (IWP), Rioja Wine Expert, and Certified Sherry Wine Specialist, as well as several others. Kevin will also soon be receiving his master’s degree in Enology from UC Davis. Kevin is also a Certified Master Chef and Pastry Culinarian through the American Culinary Federation.
He has twice been featured in the Washingtonian Magazine – including being named the Most Outstanding Personal/Private Chef in the Washington Metro Area. Kevin is proud to be a Sommelier at The Wine House in Fairfax City. He is an influencer, as the host of a popular YouTube Channel, entitled “Day Drinking with Kevin”, as well the owner of Chef Kevin Catering, Inc. and Wine Cellar Consulting, Inc. He lives in Fairfax, VA with his wife Traci and his 4 children.
